About Us

Autobahn Service Center, Inc. (ASC) began doing business in April of 2006 in a three bay leased building located at 4976 W. Smith Valley Road.

In February of 2011, ASC purchased a 12,000 square foot building located at 1648 S. Old State Road 37. After renovations to the building, ASC opened their doors at the new location on July 11, 2011 with 5 bays and room to expand. In the fall of 2012, ASC added two more lifts with a total of 7 bays now available to better serve our customers.

ASC is a certified Bosch Service Center and is a member of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) and Better Business Bureau of Indiana. ASC is also an authorized GIAC performance software installer.


History/Bios

Peter D. Myers- Owner/Master Technician

Peter started an apprenticeship at Giganti VW, Porsche, Audi dealership in 1992. Giganti closed in 1993 and he then began work at Black Forest Motors. Peter worked as a senior technician with Black Forest for 13 years servicing mainly German and Swedish vehicles. Peter is an ASE Master certified technician, certified by Robert Bosch Corporation that meets Bosch standards of Service Excellence, and is also certified by Mobil Air Conditioning Society. In 2006, Peter decided it was finally time to realize his long time dream and go out on his own.

Kimberly M. Myers- Co-owner/ Office Manager

Kimberly graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor in Science, Nursing degree. Kim works as the office manager and oversees the finances of ASC. She also works PRN as a Indiana Registered Nurse.

In Memory of Thomas Gill- Service Manager/ Technician

Thomas lost his battle with cancer on Christmas Day 2014. Thomas loved his job but most importantly he loved the customers. He never knew a stranger & greeted every person that walked through our doors with his warm smile, pleasant conversation & his funny wit. He will forever be a part of Autobahn’s family and he is truly missed.

Damon Riggles- Service Advisor

Damon has been in the car industry for over 20 years starting with graduating from Lincoln Technical Institute. Damon was an ASE certified technician for over 10 years before going into automotive management. He was a general manager for a high volume service garage before coming to ASC. Damon believes taking care of the customer comes first and strives to give every customer a great experience.

Stephen M. Whitmer- Master Technician/ Shop Foreman

Stephen began his passion for working on cars at the age of 17. He joined ASC in July of 2012. Stephen has worked hard over the years attending countless training seminars. He is currently is an ASE Master Certified Technician with an L1 Advanced Engine Performance Certificate. He has completed a course for Hybrid/ Electric vehicles and is also ASE certified in Light Duty/ Electric vehicles. Stephen oversees all the technicians, keeping everything running smoothly & efficiently.

Toby A. Wallace- Master Technician

Toby started an apprenticeship at Dreyer and Reinbold BMW and MINI at the end of 2004. When the dedicated service team for MINI was formed in 2006, Toby was the first person to volunteer. He attended all MINI factory classes and attained all certifications offered by MINI as well as a lifetime MACS certification for mobile air conditioning. He received the "Top 100 MINI Technicians" award for 2010, awarded to the 100 highest scoring MINI technicians in the country. In August 2011, Toby moved to ASC where he has continued his training with ASE, Bosch and Autologic.

Derek Smith- Master Technician

Derek has had a lifelong interest in anything automotive. He attended Wyotech for automotive and light duty technology. After graduating, he had the opportunity to attend MINI step school in Chicago to become a Level 1 MINI technician. Derek worked at a MINI dealership before joining the Autobahn team. Derek is an ASE Master Certified Technician. He has a strong work ethic and believes in constant training to keep up with the ever changing automotive technology.
